Anyone perhaps know what and why my T is secreting. My suspicion is venom, but why?

Thanks in advance.

Out of curiosity, what kind of tarantula is it? And how big is it (DLS)?

Your photos aren't quite good enough for us to tell if the venom is coming from the fang tips or the mouth itself.

If from the fang tips, it would be most unusual. I have no clue.

If from the mouth, this is a fairly common occurrence. Because of their unusual use of hydraulic pressure to extend their legs, tarantulas that are moving around and exerting themselves a lot (e.g., climbing the cage walls) must maintain a high hemolymph pressure in the forward section of its body, the prosoma. And, that's where the true stomach, pumping or sucking stomach, mouth and pharynx are all located. They tend to drool as a result, as the back pressure forces some of the stomachs' contents back up and out. I note that in both photos the tarantula is apparently climbing its cage's walls. That easily requires enough pressure to cause a little upchucking.

So, your next question should be, "Why is it climbing the walls?" For possible insights see SUBSTRATE: Why Does My Tarantula Hang From the Side of the Cage...

Hope this helps. Best of luck.
