My first molt

My first molt was created by Sheldon Booth
So, got home from work yesterday and found my 6cm "curly hair" on its back. Its been in its hide for about 3 months now, hasn't come out and hasn't fed. This morning I have a beautiful, big T which looks suspiciously like a red rump. It is still in its hide, so as soon as it comes out and I can get hold of the molt, I'll post pictures. Tried to lift the hide this morning, but the molt web is attached to the underside.

The abdomen on yours does not quite look red enough to be a vagans, I think.

The abdomen is a lot redder than the picture suggests. Also, the cephalothorax (sp.?) is darker than those in the other pictures.

I am definitely no expert. :?
But I do agree with you on the not curly part.
The hairs on the legs do not look curly enough.
I would also say B.vagans
I am sure one of the more experienced members would be able to shed some light. .......
