Maybe they can send an interviewer/inspector who can come to your place and see the state of how you keep your Ts etc. and ask you some questions based on locals in captivity, yr intentions with the Ts etc. Otherwise I don't know how they will be able to determine eligibility towards these permits? Still quite exciting though

I think it may be a good idea if a few natcon guys team up with the big guys in the T community(the people who get the first permits).
Whoever thereafter has to go through say for ex. tarantulas.co.za, as I think this site collects a lot of valuable info about people in the hobby and how they handle their t's. I'm sure you big guys would put together a mean and very fair "panel of judges".

Don't really know how well connected and in touch people on this site are with natcon but I think that Tarantulas.co.za and other forum's, with people active in the hobby, would be the fairest way to hand out permits.

If I understand it correctly, when you purchase a local, the breeder will then supply you with a permit.
