From what I read, for viewing purposes, red light is best. Apparently it is nearly invisible to the Ts.
Lighting shouldn't be needed for heating, they normally produce too much Watts and heat compared to a heating pad. Some of the globes I have seen does 40+ degrees celcius compared to my heating pad's 30 degrees celcius.

I tested on my Ts, they run and hide when I use any normal light in the dark. I placed a red filter over one of them and the Ts didn't move when I used it to view them.

Just dont use any uvb lights and I sugest that you rather heat your cages up with heating pads or a heater and just use a normal light in your room,dont bother with lights in there cages thy will just hide from them.

I use a 60w Red light for all my t's in a "heat box" that is conected to a timer it works great just make sure the light doesnt shine directly on you t's i have also put in a layer of foil at the bottom of the box to regulate the temp
