I bought a large amount of crickets about a month ago. They seem to be getting more without any assistance from my side aside from the occasional gel and carrots.

I feed the largest to my largest Ts and the smaller ones to my smaller Ts. Works pretty great and a bargain at R50.

Thanx yep thats what i did the other day crushed the bigger cricket's head took it out the following day

thanx synergyZA,i'm forced to buy crickets coz the petshop only sells crickets the crickets for africa container has about 90 crickets 3/4 in size for R30 not too shabby i think :lol: my b.albopilosum an b.vagans is about 9.5cm they just love the 3/4 to full size crickets

Pitty we lost the threads ... there was a nice thread on breeding store bought crickets. It was by Scarab.

It's nice to have a range of sizes if you buy the smaller crickets. Mine tanges from 2 to 7cm. So I have a spider for almost all sizes.

Was kind of pain when they were in pre-molt, no one ate, which made the breeding more prominent. I now have 1 1/2 containers full of crickets.

Breeding you own is the answer in the long run depending on the size of your collection ... If it was for mine at this moment in time I would be praying premoult comes so that they replenish there numbers :lol:
