I find the best way to sex ornata is by the carapace markings and yours just screams male.
99.99% sure its male (Just because other than a moult nothing is 100% accurate way of sexing.

I have the same problem that's why I usually try and buy no less than 5 of the same species at once :laugh:

Sold 2 at the auction.
Sure there are a few people with ornata's, but know there are a few males around too.
Check the pokie club thread and see who has a few females and see if you can buy from them.
Or else put a wanted ad up.
