To put things into perspective, this is one greedy bitch. About 8 days ago, she refused her food. I notice now that she moves very slowly, and yesterday she started laying down a silk mat. Very interesting to watch. At the moment she is a fairly drab brownish-grey colour. I can't wait to see what she looks like after her molt. I have a feeling it will happen soon.

Ok, so maybe she won't be molting as soon as I expected. :-( I'll take some before and after photos.

They do take forever to molt! Mine went in her Burrow, closed up the hole and that was the last I saw of her for about 4 weeks. She has just emerged, much bigger and more details in her design!

Mine doesn't burrow at all. Always out on display. Do you also have a Pulchra?
