Yes. Next to the glass. Almost like it just fell off it's log.

UNfortunately, yes. Not sure what happened. I need to check my remaining tank for mites. I will buy an extra enclosure at the auction on saturday, so that I can rehome my Pulchra if need be.

Just something I want to ask here, was this T kept in a tank with high humidity and constant misting? If so, this could be the reason it died. Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens do not like high humidity, and just spraying a tank can raise the humidity to 80-90% and higher if the substrate is already moist. Blocking off the ventilation, is even worse.

I keep mine in a tank with bone dry peat, and I simply use a spray gun with the nozzle open to spray a stream of water to wet one corner of peat only. This keeps the humidity at about 60-70%, but in a tank with a water dish I don't even wet the substrate.

Guilty as charged. There was a water dish, but it was a bitch to get in and out of the tank because of all the webbing. I suspected it was in pre-molt, because it was webbing up more and not eating properly. So I started misting more frequently, with more water at each misting.

I also stuck some cellotape over the ventilation, only leaving a few holes open. I did this thinking the extra humidity would aid an impending molt.

I feel stupid now.

 So if you have a small water bowl in the tank is it not necessary to damp the substrate?
