There is some confusion over the edition numbering because we changed publishers at one point. Please visit the Guide History to sort it all out.

Also, be sure to visit the Aftermarket Support page. There's loads more information there for you. I think we're almost unique in the publishing industry for publishing such aftermarket support for a printed book on the Internet.

I have to confess that I had to look the term up on the Internet to know what it meant. Now I'm at least that much less ignorant. Count the day lost that you don't learn at least one thing. Believe me, no offense was intended.

Baby and spiderling tarantulas less than 3.5 cm diagonal leg span (the distance from the tip of one front leg to the tip of the rear leg on the opposite side when the tarantula is resting in a "normal" posture. Also called DLS.) must usually be kept in smaller containers with little ventilation and on about 2 cm of damp substrate.

Is it such a error to have moved them to the small glass containers if they smaller then this size? if so is it too late to move them back to the plastic containers we got them in.

I'm such a noob.

It's fine to swap them back over, they won't mind too much

Try to find an enclosure that is 3 x the spiders leg span and you will be ok when dealing with spiderlings.
