I really dig this site man!! pity about all the in-fighting. maybe a solution would be to add a new tab- "frequently asked questions" i am new to the whole game but have spent quite a lot of time on the site. if there was a list of common questions that all noobs want to know i would have been there. searching for general questions can take a lot of time.

thats my 2c

Perhaps I'm a little out of line by saying this but please understand that I mean it respectively.

I can understand the frustration in terms of the illegal baboons concept. Yes people have more patients when answering questions about spiders molting bur that's simply because the first time your spider molts it is rather stressfull and you don't have time to check first if the topic has been discussed yet because you think your spider is dying.

Where as when it comes to discussing illegal species you aren't rushed and can take the time to check if the topic has been discussed.

I don't mean it offensive to anyone I myself have started some pointless threads but I just mean that to search something on the site doesn't take that much effort and can often save a lot more time.

@ Spulrge: You won't get banned for using common names. I meant that broadly for impolite behaviour. It's just good practice to use the scientific names because mistakes are all too common when using the common names (pardon the pun lol).
We all started like that though...... don't stress ;-)

@ Visser: Read the site rules and use the search option to find the plentiful threads discussing the baboon legalities....
