GBB - Strange behaviour

Ok, by strange, I mean I've never witnessed it before but being a noob that is to be expected.
Last night, I noticed my C. Cyaneopubescens was rubbing some of his legs together as well as rubbing a leg on his abdomen. It was a slow rythmic movement. His pedipalps were also moving in a similar fashion. It almost looked like he was cleaning himself. I did throw in 2 crickets earlier that day. He didn't take them straight away as he normally does. When I looked in later, I couldn't see the crickets (they are quite small) and I'm pretty sure he ate them. Is there any correlation?
I've had him for 2 weeks now, and I swear he has gotten bigger. It could just be my imagination though. He/she is still a juvie. About 4cm now. It molted just before I got it, so it's been close to 3 weeks since it's last molt.
Thanks Flash, I suspected as much. Although when I first witnessed it, I was worried one of the crickets decided to snack on him. I spent about 10min peering into the tank from all angles. LOL!
