Top Choice: H.Maculata, I have a blisteringly fast sling, and a 4 inch Female. I still get goosebumps when she bolts, very quick! But honestly, if you were to translate the speed of a sling at scale to an adult, I really think you could call it teleporting, rather than running. The slings do at least three or fours laps around their deli cups a second!

Avic Avic. A champ of a T. They are docile, feed aggressively, easy to handle/transfer, always busy, easy to keep and go through interesting color changes as they grow to their final dark coloration with the pink toes developing early on. I would go so far as to call this T entertaining.

Makes 2 of us.. i'll have to wait for mine to get a bit bigger. And like HS says, they are super fast. Even for a 2cm sling..

And if you look at bite reports. Many are from small H mac slings. They chill out a bit when mature apparently (hopefully).

Heteroscodra maculata all the way - there's just something about that baboon spider look that will always be awesome. 2nd best would be the good old Chevron(P. cambridgei)
