I have 30 T's that's been living on a diet of crickets, and I now want to try and feed them roaches.

I'm not aware of roach suppliers in Randburg, the closest to you will be Marula in Sandton.

My personal favourite is Forest roaches, mostly because they don't climb.

Hey Spyker, good chioce !! you can not go wrong with roaches. but also bear in mind, that variety is always your best policy ! i use roaches, meal worms, super worms and crickets.

I have started a Phoetalia pallida (Pallid Roach) colony, which is awesome, but they climb... which can amount to a few headaches and escapees.
then im getting in a whole bunch a Blaptica Dubia (Orange spotted roach). which dont climb nor fly. but cant give you much info on these guys, since i havent had any of them.. but 1 thing i can say is.... most people on other forums swear by them...

I agree with Cenotaph they breed quick,and produce lots of young and if you breed with Ts the baby's are like pinheads.

The lobster roach is also a nice roach but can climb and are fast but not faster than my T :laugh:

I also give my Ts a variety of foods.Crickets,mealworms,lobster, Madagascar hissing roaches and superworms.
