I have had good success with what's called the Jade or Money plant.

It is a succulent type of plant, so needs very little watering as keeps most it's water in it's leaves - and I have grown a sapling in a coca cola cap, (which can easily be buried in the peat substrate) for months. Also, if you keep it in the coke cap, it will grow very slowly and will not outgrow your tank.

I use hen and chickens and I also use love palms. You can use basically anything as long as it does not die in your enclosure and is not toxic.

I do not know where you live, but Animal Kingdom in Atterbury Value Mart - Pretoria sells nice cork bark and driftwood.

I'm warning you though, the plants don't last long against some T's. They keep bouldering over the plants and flattening them.
