I didn't mean Flame war per say but I meant the way that Monalish was speaking. I understand fully but I think that Monalish shouldn't act so Childish in this manner. What are Newbies to this site going to think?
Maybe I sound like a Moron but yes, Monalish shouldnt be so Hypocritical.
I live in the Free State so maybe I don't understand the problem fully,
but like I said, if this law get's passed on to the Free State as well I wont kill them. I have invested hundreds of rands and time on them.
I just won't buy anymore tarantulas. Baboon Spiders are in danger but they shouldnt blame those who have nothing to do with their endangerment.
But I admire the fact that you stood up for yourself like that Rayman. So is it confirmed? You are getting free Tarantulas?

Thanx for seeing that Im not attacking anyone. ;)
You are welcome to have some of the spiders I get.
Just so you know tarantulas are technically illegal throughout the country. There is just no manpower to enforce it, and there are more important things for nature conservation to be worried about like rhino and cycad poaching. But just wait till someone gets a bee in their bonnet and things could change very quickly if they decide to enforce the law.

Thanks. Send me a PM when you receive them. ;) It's just unfortunate that it had to happen like this.

Yes it is unfortunate.
Monalish as an act of good faith, you can keep your tarantulas. Sorry firefly. :(

Replied by Darkest Days on topic Re:Attempt to ban the keeping of all exotic animals
Hey everyone. Hope all is doing well...

Now i see Monalish's point and i also see Raymans point. But what gets me is, yes Tarantulas are known to be illegal in this country, but why do Reptile Expo's allow the selling and displaying of tarantulas ??

I really do hope they dont ban this hobby and make it illegal illegal to keep tarantulas as well as exotics as i WILL DEFINATELY NOT kill ANY of my tarantulas. they are my babies. haha.
