Got my first arboreal T last week and I'm loving it ! I wanted a T that did some cool webbing and when I went past the pet store I just fell in love with the web formations in the two C. fimbriatus enclosures.

Anyways, here's pix of the new gal (?) and my other T larger than 2cm, the B. albopilosum.

(both are about 4.5cm - 5cm)

@ Darkne55, Where did you get the indien violet from?
You should look into a GBB, also make some stunning web formations.

C.fimbriatus are awesome! Definitely going to be a gem in your collection.

C.cyaneopubescens (GBB), H.maculata, C.huahini and H.incei are also good candidates for interesting webbing.

Got it from the pet store (which people seem to not approve of) in Fourways Mall, near the Game entrance.
I think they're called Pets Paradise.
It was R380, which for that size I thought was a decent price.

They still have one more if you're looking for one. I think it was about the same size, but quite shy so I couldn't be sure.

I'd love to get a GBB, but it aint in the budget. Actually the fimbriatus wasn't in the budget either but I was mesmerised by the webbing !

I also have a C Fimbriatus and your post about it being arboreal got me scratching my head. Mine has up to date not shown any arboreal tendencies, rather a webber of note. I have also seen other mature C Fimbriatus' that also just webbed, when the one was rehoused to an enclosure with deeper subtrate it started burrowing and stayed underground.

So I did some research online, some websites say it is arboreal, some say semi-arboreal and others burrowing...

Could someone please be as kind as to give some clarity on this as I am very confused now seeing that I always thought it to be a burrowing specie.
