Thats a female. Price depends on the buyer, but probably around R600 at that size.
If you do think of breeding her, I would wait another moult atleast.
Just be warned, there are lots of babies at the moment and possibly another eggcase or 2 in the future, so you might struggle to get rid of babies.
That is of course if you manage to breed them.

Tnx for the advice! Maybe just sell and get it over with. Lots of hassles and though the pokies are beautiful they are too fast and aggressive for my liking. I like terrestrials more any way. And sitting forever with a bunch of babies when i have heaps of other t's and pets to keep me busy.. Not worth the bother. Cheers!

I would love another fasciata! But right now I have to save for other Ts They really aren't aggressive, may be fast at time, but I've never seen any of my pokies in a threat posture, they just run and hide and refuse to get out their cages when we need to move cages! I am WAAAAY more scared of my S. calceatum, that girls insane!

Agree with T-rad. My fasciata from the communal are so docile, I could possibly dangle them by a leg without anything happening. Haven't tried, though... :S

So Poecilotheria fasciata (Sri Lankan Ornamental) can also be kept in communal?
