Hi there...
I was wondering when do the males change their color and do they all change to the ugly dull gray??
I have one and its about 8 cm and still pitch black...... and cant sex it because it destroys its molt every time... :(

Any comments more than welcome
Thanks

Exactly the same as your P. cambrdgei Male.
They change color(Sexual dimorphism) when they mature into a mature male.
Males can start to mature after 18 months or sooner.
Very ruff thumb suck but males can mature from 12cm and up, but not a good way to work it out.

I have seen a 8cm MM P. irminia before ;)

All P. irminia mature males have the same look to them once they have matured.

on its penultimate molt the male will already seem a bit more grey than black, that's a rule of thumb I use to know if my males are gonna mature on the next molt or not.

I don't know if you guys may have notice in previous posts I commented on, but I have a P. Irminia female whom I am sure is possessed by the devil! I am much more scared of her than any other pet I have ever kept. Even been tagged thrice by it. She is just plain and simple MEAN and evil. Any of you have a P. Irminia that seems "a bit too much'? I handle all my T's, but i steer clear of her, I even put off rehousing her for a day, just to get the nerves right!
