The other day I observed my A. seemani throughout her molting process... I will always find this amusing. I had a bad day at work, and felt unusually depressed... However, I have found comfort in the kind message that was conveyed to me through her molting process:

In order to grow in life, to move forward, and to become better and stronger, one has to leave the past behind... climb out of it! During this time you might find yourself vulnerable and on your back, but keep good faith, you will be back on your feet before you know it - bigger, stronger, and more vibrant than ever before!

Amazing, huh?

I'm somewhere in the future, and I look much better than I look right now!

Nice sentiment DocMorrie. In order to grow, we have to undergo the uncomfortable and sometimes painful. It may leave us weak, but as long as we keep moving, keep pushing forward, our hide will thicken and our colors will soon shine :)

I posted this in a similar thread somewhere... still true, for me anyway...

Joy is easy to experience.
Natures beauty has no equal.
You will never know everything.
Some will pretend to know everything.
You will never own everything you desire.
Very few natural phenomena can be predicted.
People are the weakest link in the Tarantula hobby.
Trust grows as slow as Aphonopelma chalcodes.
Lies have offspring like Lasiodora klugi.
Cannibalism is not always physical.
Money can bend morality.
True friends can live communally.

Most people are like clouds. The sun comes out when they f*ck off...
