Hello again,
Does anyone know if planting a Bonzai inside an arboreal spider tank is a good or bad idea?

Most of the (smaller) Bonzai's i've found are Acacia sp. and have tiny thorns. could these have any negative implications?

I reckon the thorns could potentially harm the T, but it is not like planting a cactus

I have contemplated this as well, what stopped me was how will you prune the tree and keep it bonzai while it is either covered in webbing or servers as home to a T, thus destroying it's webbing each time you have to trim the tree.

It will look killer if you can manage it

my intension would be to keep the tree alive, and obviously keep my T happy and healthy. I dont really intend on maintaining the tree (pruning, training)
I was told that the Acacia will stay fairly small, no larger than 20cm high. im not sure about its spread tho which could present some obstacles.

I'll try it out and post a pic. hopefully all should be fine.

So i did it today

I gave the Bonzai to my P. pulcher. i haven't had great luck with the panama's (this is my second attempt)
I trimmed off all the thorns and pruned it a bit to fit.

I am also on my second Pulcher, read your post on it as well, but can't really add anything at this stage since my second one hasn't even molted yet, so still 3rd instar and tiny.
