Go read this: www.tarantulas.co.za/forum/breeding-repo...dark-form-p-subfusca
They are the SAME SPECIES.
The guy who is breeding them is not sure if they are light or dark form (Pretty sure they are a mix), so hope anyone that moaned about me "hybridizing" the same species with itself (If that's even possible) is not going to buy any of these, and leave them for the rest of us out there who don't mind owning a mix of 2 forms.

I had a chat with Hendrik on the weekend while at expo together and he stated that they are different species. Obviously just saying it as i am suprised at all the different opinions.

He said that lowland has been called bara for a while now.

Hey Hendrik, you have a paper on the name change by any chance?
In synonymy:
P. bara Chamberlin, 1917 = P. subfusca Pocock, 1895 (Kirk, 1996: 21).

I have to agree with Hendrijs and Dimitri. Iv heard the lowland been called Bara now for a while. I have
a friend in poland that is very experienced in poecilotheria as he has kept all species that are available in the hobby
including Poecilotheria Hanumavilasumica and bred them all. He has told me that Bara is a seprate species in
itself.

Thank god i dont collect Poecilotheria anymore, they to confusing for me. I rather keep a species less complicated
like pamps ;)

My Advice is mostly from my personal experience, but everyone is
allowed to give there own opinion.

Until I see it on paper, its the same. :)
Looks like Tim isn't going to sell any subfusca's to members of this forum then.
