I now there is a couple of us on the site that own A. geniculata ..
I have A. brochlehursti (well that what it was sold to me as) .. So now its been brought to my attention that Both theses tarantulas species look the same wich is true.

so I have been doing alot of reading up and surfing pictures tring to find out wich one I actaully have and well the thing is the only way to tell is to look at there leg bands on there knees to tell the diffrence.. www.atshq.org/forum/showthread.php?t=213...hoscurria+geniculata .take a look at this thread you can see the diffrence between these two Ts as clear as day ..

Also the male A brocklehursti looks completly diffrent to the male A geniculata

The A.geniculata has the wider leg bands. And then theA.brocklehursti has the thiner leg bands this is about the only info that shows the diffrence and makes sence..

maybe one day when every ones TS are bigger we can arrange a group meeting and match our Ts up and see what we all have :woohoo:  :P

Pretty sure mine is an A.genic then.
I read somewhere a while ago that the A.brocklehursti has red setae on its carapace. Not sure it is true though as the pics in the link only differ by the bands on the legs
