Hi all, new on the forum (and relatively new to the hobby) so just want to introduce my small collection :P
I have been browsing for info on this site for a few months, a lot of good info, and recently joined the forums.

Got into keeping T's at the end of 2011, collection is now up to 8.
(Although I constantly have to fight off the urge to buy more)

1 x Brachypelma Albopilosum
(The fatty :- currently on diet)
1 x Grammostola Rosea
(The Loner :- always in burrow, moulted, came outside then went back in)
1 x Lasiodora Parahybana
(The 'flash' :- strikes a cricket so quick it disappears right before your eyes)
1 x Nhandu Chromatus
(The engineer :- who burrows directly under it's water bowl)
1 x Brachypelma Boehmei
(The Brave :- Hide? What hide? Why would I need to hide?)
1 x Cyclosternum Fasciatum
(The shy :- Just looking at it's tank causes a mad dash to it's hide)
1 x Lampropelma Violaceopes
(The Ninja :- I do have one...somewhere in the tank)
1 x Grammostola Pulchripes
(The Puny :- +/-1CM and hasn't moulted for 2 months)

Welcome Travis :) :drunk:

Don't worry about the G. pulchripes. All my Grammostolas take ages to moult. Still waiting for my 2cm rosea to molt - been in premolt for 2 months already, and the conditions are perfect!

It's interesting how some tarantulas get obese very quickly and others look like Kate Moss, even though they have the appetite of a teenage boy  That's what makes these creatures so fascinating!

Enjoy!

Hi Travis.

Welcome to the forum and good to see that you already learning tons. Love your little descriptions of your T's.

Just wondering how long you can keep that urge at bay. Lol
