hey Guys, whats a good alternative for slings besides crickets. Crickets are such a mission to care for, They have to be rehoused and fed typically every 3 days. Too much work. Altenatives?

You could try mini mealworms, just squash their heads before putting them in the enclosure. Roaches are also an option.

I prefer pinhead crickets though because they are so easy to get at almost any pet shop. But that's just me.

I found a pet store near me in Edenvale that sells individual crickets... that helps me big time. Try finding a pet store that will do the same for you? Alternatively get a box of mealworms, min 25 in a box, but at least they grow slower than crickets

Lobster and pallid roaches. Breed fast with super tiny nymphs. Petbugs sells a starter colony with a mix of both. I havent bought a cricket in years and have no desire to either. Nasty dirty things...
