I have seen this on Animal Planet about a year ago, think it is either a Japanese or Chinese turtle. Not sure about the name though... :blush: If I am not mistaken there is only one male, known to man, left in the world.

You're on the right track.. if your thinking of "Yangtze giant soft-shell turtle" but no there's still a pair.. keep trying

The rare padloper tortoise only found in the Richtersveld and nowhere else on earth - only 4cm long as an adult :huh:
