From what i know they dont bite the T but can climb into the book lungs and suffercate the T... What i would do is put a dead cricket(or any feeder) is a pill or empty film container with holes and the mites should be attracted to it and climb in. Just check there are no mites in any of your feeder colonies.
Hope this helps amd good luck!

I had the same situation with my P pulcher. I had put it in the fridge for 10min to slow it down, then took a paint brush and tried to brush off as much as I could. Also waited for it to molt and rehomed it. I continued this till there was nothing left on the T. Till today I keep a eye on him and thank goodness NOTHING (touch wood).

hope u come right!

lets tango!

You can put the T in an ICU and change to another ICU every 24 hours untill all the mites have climbed off. This has worked for me in the past, but now I only use dry substrate and don't get any mites anymore.

Try drying your enclosure out for a few days, the mites will die off as they need humidity to survive. Just make sure your T has enough water

@Snarf: What do you mean by dry substrate? Do you only keep water bowls and not mist at all?

Life is not measured by how many breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.
