Guys my female is confusing the hell out of me, after my attempted mating in the video, I tried again a few days later and it was the same story; the female was tapping and the male was running away, so I left it. Again I tried a few days later and about 4 or 5 hours into it I noticed the male and female tapping, the male was trying for insertion, but after a few tries he backed up and I left them for another hour or so. When I came back to check on them I noticed the female was rubbing her epigastric furrow, so I assumed the male got his insertion and the job was done.
A week later(last night) I decided to try again just in case no insertion was made the last time, as soon as the male entered the females enclosure she started drumming, again I left them for a few hours but this time when I came back the female was rubbing her epigastric furrow even more than the first time and she did not stop rubbing every few seconds for about 4-5 min. So I am really confused  would a female rub her epigastric furrow for nothing or does she just love mating and the male has actually done his job more than once? I dunno any breeding experts care to share there thoughts?
