Brachypelma albiceps??? was created by Wade
So I got this Tarantula and pretty sure it is a female and she is about 7cm leg span and I was under the impression she was a Brachypelma Vagans but I have only noticed that her carapace is not black but a peach colour and this resembles a Brachypelma Albiceps? Can you see this in the photo? At the moment the pictures I have attached is all I have and I don't want to disturb her as I have recently moved her into a bigger enclosure and she did not take it likely and expressed this severely as you can see in the one photo. Obviously if she was sold to me as a Brachypelma Albiceps then clearly the common name is what got me confused but no regrets she is wonderful and lesson learnt to stick to scientific names whistle2!

Would B. albiceps not have a lighter carapace?

Agree with Dimitri, now the lighter carapace is clearly visible.

That is a Brachypelma vagans, the carapace will go a bit darker in due course.
