imo, this is childish. I have my believes, so does anybody else. This is not the place and time to argue about religion. Just stand back and see how this looks for the rest of the world looking with binoculars at us. We are suppose to unite in respect for our love for our hobby.

There is nothing wrong with that avatar, it's he's choice. Nobody said anything about mammon's avatar (which I think is awesome ), although I won't like it if my son wears a shirt with that on it.

The point is you don't put your name in your profile as Satan and say you did it as a joke. Don't you think some satanists would find it offensive that you are joking around like that?

Same goes for Muhammad or Arachnid God or Mother Earth or Mickey Mouse or whatever the hell you can think of. People who believe in UFO's and fairies might take offense to your 'joking'....

The bottom line is: don't make stupid jokes about other religions on a TARANTULA forum.

Respect each other and accept that we all come from different backgrounds and have different beliefs BUT we have TARANTULAS in common.

Does this discussion really have to carry on? It's not rocket science guys....

This is so funny! I can't believe the cr..., oops, before I get attacked for using a bad word - I can't believe the nonsense that goes on on this site sometimes. This is a Tarantulas site for goodness sakes!

If you have a problem with people's usernames and avatars, then the site needs to be changed to be like that other stuck up UK forum that only allows you to use your full name and surname. Publish a list of avatars, prevent users from uploading their own, and let everyone be the same.

And also, people shouldn't take things so personally. If someone says something that you don't like, ignore them. That's what I do.

@Karin. No offence, but that "stuck up uk forum" is about 10 years ahead of us. If this site was like the BTS there would be no juvenile arguments like we currently have.
