Good evening Tarantula lovers. I have been registered here for quite a while but have not posted here. I think i registered about 4 or more moths ago. The main reason why i joined here is the exact same reason as all of you has joined, we share a passion of the same thing, we love Tarantula's.

I was started off on a Chaco Golden Knee tarantula but to my despair, 4 months after looking after my small friend, he either vanished or he died. I did not know much about this new hobby and still dont know to much. Today i got my Mexican Red Rump from a lady that i recently met and she is a very interesting lady to come across actually. I see myself learning alot from her.

Well anyways, so i am down onto my second tarantula now and will be getting another one shortly then i have two tarantula's that i will be caring for. I am sure with the help of you guys and girls, i will be able to find a tarantula that will make the process and hobby more enjoyable.

My name is d.k but if you don't remember that, you can just call me convict. I am 22 years of age and i live in KZN. I hope that my stay here will be great and that i will learn alot from you guys. I am looking forward to chatting to all of you in due time and also to learn how to use this forum better haha.

Welcome! Don't worry, we all lose a T at some stage. Never hesitate to ask a question and there are loads of people willing to give answers here. Try to learn the scientific names of some of the general spiders as soon as you can as it will make reading through posts on the forum muuuuuch easier. E.g. your Mexican red rump is a Brachypelma vagans. Enjoy!

The early bird gets the worm... but the early worm gets eaten by a bird.
