Strange color B. vagans was created by Onyx
Hi all

So I had a pretty normal Mex Red Rump "B. vagans" Till its last molt. Its carapace is now red pink in color The lighting on the photo looks like gold but I assure you its not. The carapace was black as it is suppose to be then changed. I am confused to say the least.

My first thought was that its actually a golden red rump "B. albiceps" but it cant be. This T is now 4+ cm and I have a B. albiceps now 3cm and it has always had a golden carapace. I compared this T with my other B vagans and they are the same except for the carapace. All I can think is a cross breed or just an anomaly in color for some reason.

Any Ideas?

If its not a hybrid and you can tell that its an anomaly, breed it and sell it as a red rump "red form" and make a killing.
Everything else seems to have a colour form of some sort now a days, so why not? :)

I am clueless when it comes to Brachypelma, so your guess is as good as mine. :)
But like I said, everything has a form now a days, so why not.? :)

I would say its definitely a B.Vagans, caprapace is just a bit lighter, if it were an albiceps it would be more beige and gold
