Hey guys,
Im having trouble figuring out what this guy is. i got it as a MM parahybana.
Im not a huge fan of the lasiodora's no im not so clued up on them.

I got him to pair with my female but upon close inspection i noticed slight differences between the male and the female. so either the male IS parahybana and the female is NOT, or vice-versa

That looks like a L.Klugi to me :huh:

This is a parahybana. I find there are slight differences between the males and the females. The males have longer legs for one. The colouring on the males is usually more pronounced than the female. But if there were other things you noticed that were different I would then be a little suspicious. Keep us updated on the breeding

hmm... well the male taps. its quite a sound! It seems like the female taps back but other than that they do absolutely nothing.
The differences i noticed are the white-ish bands around the leg joints. the female has very clear white bands. this white bands. The male does not.

As i said, i am really not fermilliar with this genus.

Lasiodora parahybanaMello-Leitao 1917
Integument of ceph, dark scarlet brown with dense pubescence and fiery-red fringe hairs.
Chelicerae, brown-black.
Abdomen, velvet black with long salmon bristles.
Legs, yellowish-grey with longitudinal lines running through the femur, pat and tibs.
Femorae scapulae mahogany.
Underside, greyrusty brown.
Ladium, salmon-pink

They both have longitudinal lines through thier femurs which would suggest parahbana.
