Hi.
I have a Poecilotheria smithi sling at about 3 cm legspan. Today it crawled up in a corner of its box with most of its legs curled under its body.
There are some twitching in some of the legs, but aside from that no sign of life.

It havent taken food in a few weeks, but I suspected it was in premolt, so I didnt worry about it, just offered food now and then.
Is there anything I can do for it?
Would appreciate a quick reply.

Looks bad, try ICU, I've seen a few Ts in a similar state that have pulled through after being put into ICU, but also a few that have died. Goodluck!

I've found that unless the spider is dehydrated then ICUs are pretty much useless. Give it a go anyway but i'm pretty certain your spider is done for.

i used to take the spider and move it into a empty tub wich i misted and then placing the T's mouth onto a big droplet of water. leaving it against a heating pad for about a day. i saved my versi like that and a friends T.ockerti female. just be carefull so water doesnt go underneath his/her abdomen. he/she might drown that way. especially now that its very weak and cant really move. good luck. hope all goes well.

hope this can help you.

Im sad to report this little fellow has now passed on, nothing i did could help him/her. :( Even tried holding it in my hand, putting small drops of water on its mouth area with a q-tip, but it was beyond saving :( I always kept the enclosure damp, so I doubt it was dehydration anyway, so I dont know what went wrong.
