I'm not one for normally expressing my feelings and thoughts but this whole debate made me think.
How can we put value on a living thing? (even if it is a "gogga"). Yes the breeders work hard and fork out money to produce slings, but the spiders would have done the breeding one their own in the wild anyway... Pets are great and I have a B.vagans which I care for but the price I paid never comes into the equation, it's about the love and respect for the "gogga" I buyed. I'm not saying don't put a price on a pet. I'm saying don't debate over the price of a living thing because of whatever business interest. I respect the breeders prices for whatever reason just don't label the spiders as stock items on a shelf ready to be sold...
