Interesting tangent:
Experiment a buddy of mine did and I copied later with the same results with B lateralis.

We collected all the ooths we could find and placed them in two separate deli dishes. One was placed on top of the roach colony container in the room, and one inside a dark cupboard.

The one that had day/night cycles had roaches hatching only at night, and the dark-all-the-time one had roaches hatching round the clock.

I'm not impossible. I'm being improbable.

Thanks guys, appreciate the help.

Up until now they've been in the 5L containers in a corner in my room, it gets a little light but I was just wondering if theyd do better in a cupboard or something.

My biggest problem now is when I go to bed I can hear them scratching about and dam can they make one hell of a racket.

I've been giving them fish food with a few cat pellets at the bottom, how often do they need water? ( First time looking after more than 15 roaches at a time )

I have a deli cup full of river sand that I top up every day in each of my roach containers.

Aside from that I feed them oats mixed with Montego puppy food as per iclazion.

They also eat the bobtail puppy food fine, but Montego is cheaper besides being recommended by the expert.
I also give them a few orange slices as often as I can.

Keep em dry, keep em dark, keep em warm.

River sand? O.o Some sort of euphemism or insider name for something?

Cat pellets and dry fish flakes are what I was told was good, will look at the others though.

Thanks!

lol, sorry should have been clearer.

The deli cup is full of river sand and I fill that with water. This is so that the nymphs can drink without falling in and drowning.
