Watch those heating pads closely, they are time bombs, and crap ones at that...

Ok I am having a similar experience where my T, a B. albiceps, hides under her piece of driftwood and only shows up next to the driftwood normally later in the afternoon (very inactive). Ive removed quite a few crickets that was left uneaten. She molted a few weeks ago.

I removed the driftwood over the weekend and she seems fine, moving very slow though and getting upset rather quickly.

Now my questions:
Is it possible that her home is just too big or that the crickets just have enough hiding place (I have a photo on my profile) or can I attribute the lack of feeding to the cold? Should I make an effort to keep the room warmer?

I read here (cant remember the thread) that Roaches wont harm the T and I can leave them in there with her. Is this ok? If so which roaches would you suggest.

thought i'd also reply and let you know my findings:
- also freaked out because my salmon pink is eating furiously but my brachy smithi is not eating at all. In fact
she ate a cricket yesterday -after 30 days! She used to eat a medium cricket every day!
apparently they usually "feast and fast" - i've read up that temperature has a definite effect on their appetite:
I'm keeping the tank temperature 28 degrees (she stopped eating when it was about 22 degrees) and things seem to
be improving.
she's a bit more active, wandering around and even a bit more moody (her happy sexy self!)
i also find that my brachy likes to chill out on bark (doesn't like substrate) and loves padding around on
spaghum substrate (borrowed from my snake's burrow!)
