The Mexican golden red rump tarantula, Brachypelma albiceps, is an arachnid, of the genus Brachypelma. The carapace is a lightgolden color with black legs and a black abdomen covered with red hairs.
This whole genus of arboreal tarantulas exhibits an intricate fractal-like pattern on the abdomen. The spider's natural habitat is primarily Southeastern India and Sri Lanka.
