So here it is
I was under the impression that new world Tarantulas relied on flicking their abdomen hairs, well ive found an exception. The p irminia, even though its new world it has old world characteristics, no urticating hairs ??? I would like to know if this is isolated, or are there more of these examples in the same genus or another ? Maybe even vice versa, an old world which has the characteristics of a new world ? Thanks for the future comments, could be a interesting discussion.

Ephebopus and Avicularia don't flick urcitating bristles from their abdomen's either, cause they have those on their pedipalps.

Great !!! This is actually very interesting, the p irminia uses no urticating hairs it just bites which contradicts new world tarantulas. So the list grows anything else ? Come on join in lmao !

The whole psalmopoeus genus is like this, There's been a lot of discussion on them being old world due to this fact, but they are still from the new worlds (Venezuala, trinidad etc). Exception to the rule of all new worlds having urticating hairs.

Well must say quite interesting, and fun topic.

Tapinauchenius also does not posses urticating hairs.
