Hmmmm, so this has been lurking in my head for some time or another... what does your better half have to say about you having one or tons of spiders ??

My lady gives me endless troubles about them, even to the point that she says that i care for them more than her. and give them more attention than her ... Grrrr...

its pretty frustrating to a degree, that she doesn't share Tarantulas as a interest nor hobby..

i always show or tell her how cool or awesome this or that one is, or what this or that one is doing, and all i get is a hmmm, or eeeww get that thing away from me.... or one of my favorites.... If that thing gets out im gonna.. haha

is anyone in the same boat as i within this matter ??

exact same boat hubby,says he is moving into a tent if i get any more t's....lol but now he wants a scorpion......

It can be fixed, put them in glass enclosures too...

I put mine in a very nice enclosure, made if brick & glass! ive bred her twice aswell! great for breeding! lol

But she loves the T's, just doesnt like all the time i spend with them!

I am lucky, my girl doesnt realy have a problem with the t's BUT i am not alowed get ANY snakes lol. But i will get past that sooner or later.

Exact same story. However I have small infestation of some local roaches and other creepies. She says the Ts attract them or even better, they are useless, because they don't even find and kill the creepies.

Offered to let the Ts free to hunt (not that I would obviously), but you had to see the look to understand I was a dead man walking.

My colony of roaches also gets blamed as the ones roaming the house, but they do not even look close like each other.

The only thing likely preventing the hobby to go extinct in this house, is that my toddler loves them.
