How often are these guys available in SA. If I can get 1 now must I take it or will they come round again soon. Also what is a good price for a sling?

Yes.
There was a thread about this the other day. They are the same spider.

Anything under 450,00 for a sling is a bargain and I am going to be really peed if someone gets a sling for under that after I have asked and asked, and no one had any stock. :P Im paying 600,00 for a 7cm (unsexed) which I consider to be a fair price.
