Where do you meet Cenopath? And what do you normally do at your meetings?

The meetings are usually held at my house... We try to have a theme (at the last meeting the theme was Pokies and Locals, had some MM Pokies on display and Ceratogyrus taught us how to identify the different species).

We encourage members to bring along unidentified tarantulas or pairs that need to be mated. Most of the time we have someone with a microscope as well that sexes exuviums.

We end off with a braai and lots of fun

Just make sure not to miss anything like we did the last time.By the time we came by,everyone was already finished eating and running around looking for some mammal of the sorts.

Sad to say we missed all the best fun.

I was thinking as for a topic.We could debate the difference between Acanthoscurria brocklehursti(Brazilian Giant Black & White),Acanthoscurria geniculata(Brazilian Giant WhiteKnee BirdEater) and Acanthoscurria juruenicola(Brazilian Orange Banded).

Many people mistakenly thought that the A. juruenicola paid close resemblance to the A. geniculata.Which isn't the case.So if we could get some specimens(preferably adult or sub-adult females).We could illustrate the difference between these 3 different species.

Just a thought.
