Hi all this morning @ 05:00 my wife frantically yells at me!!! "One of your goggas is in the bathroom!!!"
Thinking nothing about it I continue my dreaming session. ;) Got out of bed, routinely I go into my T-room first, what greeted me wasn't nice!!! :pinch: About 200 of my Turkistan Roaches got out! :pinch: I had to kill them off! :( What I have done wrong was to stack the egg flats to high and it touched the 2nd screen in the container. The measure put in place to keep them in actually helped them to escape! GOOD THING: Turkistans run for the closest warm spot! :woohoo: I found them all gathered under the roach enclosures and close to my heaters all in the T-room except for the one in the bathroom! :woohoo: My house is safe!! :woohoo:

Haha. Glad you sorted it out, I can just imagine what a pain in the <Censored> it would be if they spread out throughout your house.

When I told my fiance that i'm getting roaches for my Tarantula's, she said NO! So after a few hours of telling her "They'll be outside in the backroom, In a big container, with a lid and a brick on top and, and, and, and...." she finally said yes.

Now they sitting in my living room by my Tarantulas in a small plastic box with a cheap lid and I'm praying they don't escape :D

I already had two escaping events with those roaches. One of them was massive. I hunted for two days until I had them (presumably) all back in their box. Both times it was my own fault. Luckily none have invaded the house further than a few meters for the time being.

@ Marula: Being very cold in all other areas in my house they tend to congregate in my T-room only! :) Just a recommendation: Place extra egg flats in the corners of your T-room. They'll run for cover under the egg flats where you can just pick the flats up and you've captured them!! A thing I didn't think of in a state of panic!! I've learnt!! B)
