3am Saturday - 8 December 2012
Current location - Bedfordview.
Taki, Dave and myself have packed everything into the car ready to start our days mission. Our first target location is White River to pick up Hendrik.

After being heavily delayed by an accident on the highway we go to White River at around 7am and headed towards Malelane.

We got to our destination at 10am and started our search. After searching about 3 locations we finally had success and found an area that was bombarded with Augacephalus breyeri ! This area i would say had nearly 2 female burrows every 2-3 meters. The most interesting thing was that there where burrows as close as 70cm to the road. (Check Video *will be uploaded soon)

We found very big females, small females and a mother with lots of babies. It was a very hot day and we stayed out in the field till about 4pm. The day was a success!

My best part of this trip was anticipating what will come out of the burrow. Lets just say when we tickled the first one and out came those beautiful orange/red legs we where all just silent!
