This would equally work for other communical tropical species of scorpion.

Below is the progression of setting up a communal tank. 1m in length.

White light, Black uv light, Spot light (for concentrated heat) fitted.

Fake plants used. Soaked drift wood inbetween.

Substrate is a combination of peat, fine bark chips, mulsh and sphagnum moss about 15 - 20cm deep.

How many scorpions are you going to house in that enclosure?
Are there more communal scorpion species than Tarantula species?

I think you could easily keep 10 specimens in this size enclosure.

I think I will start with 5 (two males and 3 females).

That setup looks awesome. i wouldn't mind having a similar setup like that for a t communal one day. Just less lighting ofcourse
