Hi Wonderpark

When I first got my 2 G pulchripes slings, they were also slow to molt the first time. Since then (and an additional heat source) they have molted 2 more times, each about a month apart.

The one in the picture does look a little obese. I haven't had issues with some of mine that were "fat", but it could cause issues during molting, falling etc. from what I've heard.

What I have noticed is that most of my slings, just before they molt, they seem to swell up a bit. They appear very fat a few days before the molt. I assume it has to do with them retaining extra moisture for the molting process.

I notice those little dents on the abdomen, many of my Ts also had those just before molting. Even my Poecilotheria ornata sling.

This was very close to molting.

Another thing is to ensure proper humidity and moisture before and during the molting process, without it the probability of having a problematic molt increases.

Thanks SynergyZA besides extra humidity and heating should i continue not feeding him until molt?

Mine usually stop eating by themselves.
But since it is quite big, I don't think stop feeding it would be harmful.
Keep the moisture up as they get moisture from food too, so if you stop feeding, make sure to up the humidity.

My G. Pulchripes didn't eat for two and a half months and molted 3 weeks ago. Well he taught me a lesson as I thought he was a goner but is doing so well now. Before the molt he was the size of yours now:)
