Hi All

I have a question ??IT mite be stupid to some and not important to others but non the less I need some assurance .

I have had 5 Ts shed over the last month and they at the size where I can sex there exuvium .
So out of the 5 for have been sexed to be female the 5th one is a inbetween for me ?!

I have read the sexing 101 and studied the spermathecae gallery over and over

But I would like to now or have some clarification on this as I would hate to say they female get my hopes and dreams up ,all to have them shed into a male ,I do understand some times it happens ??

I have sexed and re sexed the exuvium looking at the sun at the lights and with a magnifying glass and it the same thing every time the 4 are females .
the all have the spermathecae wich looks like Mickey mouse ears in a since ?!

Could I be wrong could I be maken a mistake ??

All those apart from the Haplopelma lividum have paired spermathecae and none of those species as far as i'm aware have males with large accessory organs that could get mistaken for spermathecae so sounds like they are female if you can see mickey mouse ear shaped structures.
Have a read of this It may help you understand exactly what you are looking at.
