The first sack I lost because iI made a stupid mistake. I hade 3 sucsesfull breadings and now this. I bred THI BLACK,B.EMELIA and a CURLY. My next try wil be my theraphosa blondy. She is redy now. My smithy was on day 25 and i normaly take the sack on day 27 and incubate it further. What i did wrong! I dont know ?????

De Wet don't blame yourself too much. B. smithi's are hard to breed because of the high probability of the females eating their sacs (so i've heard but i personally don't have experience with them). Next time pull your B. smithi's sac sooner and incubate

It happens unfortunately. How long ago did you breed you emelia? How many babies did you get from the sac?

So many qustions, so few answers. Where in her enclosure did she make the sac? Would love some pics too !!

My Smithy had a 800mm by 800mm by 500mm high tank. The humidity was around 70 %. I cooled off my female for 3 month and heated her back up for a month to 28 D`c. The same I do with my other T`as. The sack was suspended on a thick mat hanging in the middle of a open (kalbassie). My faverite furniture. I tried to duplicate the natural inviroment. NO LUCK FOR ME .

B smithi made a suspended egg sac? Got any pictures?
