My female produced an eggsac on 18/05/2010 and all went well until this morning (02/06/2010)when I discovered that some idiot switched off the heating pad. Since I didn't know how long it's been off, I decided to pull the sac and move it to the Mechanical mom for incubation, after only 16 days.

All is looking good with the babies, the eggs started developing legs yesterday (12/06/2010) at 25 days and all of them are are done today. Cerat, your male is a real studd becauase all 140+ eggs are furtile and healthy.

Snarf could you tell me if you did take the eggs out of the eggsack and then placed them on the cloth plain like that or did you leave them in the egg sack ,my p.formosa sack was placed in the incubater 2 days ago and Im still turning it around every 30 min or so ,do you think its a good idea to leave in the sack or open it

Saint, I had to take the eggs out of the sac because it was on the wet substrate. I only turned the eggs once per day and stopped turning them when they started getting leggs, they are developing like crazy.
