What is the chances of this being an subfusca?
Ninety nine percent of Tarantula keepers give the rest a bad name....

No chance, P. Rufilata is in my view the best pokie. Thats a sub adult spider.
When fully grown the females become a dark olive colour where a subfusca is black
with a more pronounced white.

At the same time, Rufilata grows alot bigger than Subfusca
The girl with the black cheese puffs.

2 chances of it being subfusca. None and fudge all.
That's an 8" adult female rufilata.

I was only judging by the carapace pattern. Don't you think it looks special for a rufi?

Is that green goo not the mulberry leaves that are inside the silkworm?

No, it's the color a silk worm uses to camouflage itself when hunting for Tarantulas.

Carapace marking looks pretty rufilata to me.

Colouration and markings on that picture will point straight to rufilata.
Not sure how else to explain it, but the spider in that picture is definately 100% rufilata.
